Details and Info

Time and Design Difficulty

We love to paint and take great pride in our work! Our artists are passionate about creating something you and your children will love for any occasion. We can only paint so quickly though, and will have to adjust the amount of detail on a design should more people want to be painted than the time booked allows for (please see photo examples above). We never want to leave anyone unpainted, if we can help it! Please, choose your package carefully, but you can always ask to extend the time at the party, if our schedule will allow.

Health and Safety

We love working with kids, but know that germs are no stranger to little ones. In the unfortunate event that your child is sick, please do not ask us to paint them. We take our clients and our own safety and health very seriously, and will not be able to paint anyone that is coughing, sneezing, or has a very runny nose. We are also unable to paint anyone with headlice or open wounds for safety reasons. â€‹

If a guest has any allergies, please let us know ahead of time so we can do a swatch test on a small part of their hand.

Age Restrictions

Kids are wiggle worms, and that is especially true for very little ones. If your child is 3 or under, please know that we will only paint their hand. Any child that is visibly uncomfortable with us touching their face to paint them will not be painted. This should be a magical and fun experience, and we would never want to cause distress to a child who does not want to be painted.

Paint Removal

1. GENTLE SOAP:

Do NOT start by rinsing your face with water only. Start with warm water AND a gentle soap. Baby wash/shampoo is ideal, or a face wash. Wet a wash cloth, add some gentle soap, and wash the face. Take care around the eyes. Even though baby wash is formulated to be gentle, most of us...especially children, don't like getting anything in their eyes. If you have a wash cloth, then use it to gently scrub the skin, otherwise you can use your fingers.

2. OIL:

If there's any residue, it's time to level up to step two! Using a flannel, cotton pad, cotton ball, or makeup remover pad of your choice, apply a little oil (baby oil, cream, or coconut oil are great, but olive oil does the trick just as well) and rub over the stubborn stains. The oil picks up the pigments/paint and the stains should come right off.

3. MAKEUP REMOVER WIPES

OR MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER:

Ears, eyebrows, hairline, eyelids, and creases can sometimes hold on to the color. Here's where you use makeup remover, or face wipes (Aveeno Calm & Restore Makeup Removing Wipes for sensitive skin is one of our favorites) to get into those trouble spots without irritating the skin or eyes. Another good cleaner for stains is micellar cleansing water.

*please note: certain colors stain more than others and will require multiple washes to remove it entirely. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like us not to use these colors*
